Zeekoegat Historical Homestead offers accommodation on a peaceful, historic farm that was built in 1795. The unit is on a working farm located in the foothills of the Langeberge in Riversdal. The farm is ideal for guests who want to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Accommodation at Zeekoegat Homestead consists of two self-catering units namely Zeekoegat Homestead and Goat Cottage.
Zeekoegat Homestead is a self-catering house and the large upper floor offers sleeping space for four guests and one child. There is also a separate unit with an outside entrance that sleeps two guests. The bathroom has a bath and a shower. Furthermore, there is a sitting area, dining area and a kitchen equipped with an oven, stove, toaster, kettle, fridge, cutlery and crockery. The downstairs unit has an en-suite bathroom and a kitchenette.
Goat Cottage has a queen-size bed and two single beds. The bathroom has a shower. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, fridge-freezer, tea and coffee making facilities and a toaster and guests can enjoy their meals in the dining area. The cottage has air conditioning and Wi-Fi.
This accommodation is for animal and nature lovers. There are a variety of pets including friendly dogs and roosters that crow at sunrise. Pets are unfortunately not allowed.
The surrounding area offers many attractions for nature lovers, fitness fanatics, wine lovers and art enthusiasts. Guests can run and cycle along cow-trodden paths, go swimming in the river or simply relax with a good book.
