This upmarket country-chic bed and breakfast was born out of a love for the countryside, and the town of Clanwilliam in particular. The distinct characteristics of each guest room, quiet corner and garden space tells a story of relaxation, inspiration, rejuvenation and love.

The serene surrounds of the Cederberg Mountains and near by West Coast towns offer many people the chance to catch their breath and admire what's around them. More than just a horizon of beauty, this magnificent mountain range offers a wide variety of activities for visitors to enjoy including bouldering, hiking, wild flower viewing, nature trekking to ancient Khoi San rock art sites, mountain biking, trail running and bird watching.

We also pride ourselves on being the one and only home of one of SA's most popular tea exports, Rooibos. With an ever-changing silhouette, Yellow Aloe Guesthouse is a mere extension of the beauty that lies in the valley that we call home.

Tranquil by

Yellow Aloe has a beautiful and tranquil atmosphere. Whether you are popping in for a cup of Tea, having lunch or wandering round the gift shop and nursery, it is always place to go back to. The hosts, Cheryl and Nelie are absolutely wonderful; so friendly and joyful. The rooms are spotless and comfortable. A perfect stop over in Clanwilliam where you will definitely feel right at home.

We had the Cream Room in the main building. It was really big and comfortable.

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Friendly, warm and everything you need and warm. Loved the little touch of sherry in the room. The room in Longhouse was however extremely cold and it isnt always good to have the aircon on to warm the room.
