Situated in the secure village of Kosmos with stunning views of Hartbeespoortdam. Only 45 minutes from Johannesburg and Pretoria we welcome you to Willinga Lodge. The lodge has a feeling of Bali in Africa. Set in a tropical garden Willinga Lodge offers guests a romantic getaway in six well-appointed private suites with luxury jacuzzi baths and ceramic wood fueled fireplaces.

Suites have coffee and tea making trays, CD players and a fridge as well as braai facilities on the terrace or at the Lapa by the pool. The en suite bathrooms have jacuzzi baths and showers (some double and some outside). In the tropical garden, we have a lovely saltwater rock pool as well as a cuddle jacuzzi under the trees.

Many varieties of Hibiscus and other tropical plants. Birdwatchers and nature lovers paradise. Superb English breakfasts served on the deck or in the new Bali dining room with wonderful views of the dam. The lodge soon will be able to offer a meeting room for executives. This will be in the new dining room and entertainment area of the main Bali house. This is a magnificent area with the roof, windows and doors of the house fully imported from Bali.

TV lounge with DStv for use of the guests as well as a large self-catering gourmet kitchen. Picnic baskets can be pre-arranged. Private wine cellar on the premises. Wonderful hospitality from your hosts Ingrid and Will. English, Dutch, Afrikaans and German spoken. Small pets welcome.

Fantastic by

Unfortunately, we didn't get to meet Will and Ingrid, but Kelly made us feel most welcome. We went for our 10th wedding anniversary and were upgraded from the Green Bird Suite to the Island Suite which was a wonderful surprise. The setting was beautiful, it was incredibly peaceful and very private, we felt as if we were in the middle of nowhere! It was safe enough to go for long walks as well which was great.

Peacefull and quiet by

Our Stay at Willinga Lodge very great. The accommodation is secluded and peaceful, exactly what we wanted. The breakfasts where excellent with a good variety, and the hosts Will and Ingrid are wonderful. The fireplace works very well, and the bath has a view! Everything was so relaxing...a very good overall experience!

Upon aLeaving! by

Upon arrival the host told us that he has been trying to sell the place for 3 years. We now understand why he has not had any success, you cannot give it away for nothing. Perhaps in its beginning it might have been pretty, now it is extremely run down , overgrown and dirty, we had paid upfront for 3 nights and left to find another guesthouse, the rating is zero and the local tourism board should take some action!

the place is just breath taking and Ingrid and her husband are just good host, awesome indeed the only thing I could change is to stay a bit longer:):)

Did not have a nice weekend birthday by

We were extremely disappointed as the room was dirty. The Saturday I advise the owners accordingly. Although the room has sort of been cleaned no fresh towels have been supplied. The communal kitchen more specifically the plates and cutleries ...dirty. Also complained about it on Saturday but to no avail. It is a beautiful place but it sincerely requires renovation and service.

Image of the Palm lodge should be updated on Safari. It was not a hidden unit at all, it was on top of the admin offices and noisy parking lot. Absolutely not hidden behind palm trees or a waterfall. There was 2 leaves of a palm tree visible from within the unit, and there was a pond below the unit. IThere was not a jacuzzi, but a jet bath. Neighbours were so very close, and kept on talking very loudly throughout Friday night - we could not sleep at all. The fan and kettle were not working. Will not recommend.
