White Sands Camping

White Sands Camping

Praia da Barra, Inhambane (Prov), South Africa
Self-catering from R 100 (family units from R 900)
R 100

This is a lovely campsite set on soft white sand, located in Praia da Barra. The beach is only a stone's throw away and various local markets are closeby.

There are two campsites that share one central power point, of which guests must bring their own extension cords. The only electrical equipment allowed are deep freezers and fans.

Guests are welcome to bring their own generators for extra electrical equipment, from 10am to 10pm. Some sites have lapas that provide some extra shade.

The ablution facilities are clean, with hot and cold water. There are plenty of showers, indoors and outdoors, to accommodate all guests.

We would love to go to White Sands again. Hope the broken toilet seats will be replaced and that there will be lights in the ablutions (they were out for 8 days of our 20 day stay).
