Waterkloof Guest Farm is a lovely spacious homestead located on a working farm. This charming homestead dates back to 1870, and together with its tranquil surroundings it is a truly unique experience.

We provide a self-catering house with three bedrooms that can sleep up to ten guests. The house consists of a fully equipped kitchen, private bathrooms and a spacious lounge area with a TV. Please bring your own smart card for DStv access. There is a lovely braai area and safe under-cover parking available. All linen and towels are provided.

Tamed wildlife roams freely along with domesticated animals on the working farm. Activities at Waterkloof include taking day walks on the farm, exploring with your bicycle or quad bike, jogging across the countryside, bird watching or just sitting back and relaxing while reading a good book.

The tourist capital of the Klein Karoo, Oudtshoorn, is also nearby. Explore the region and come home to a peaceful night's sleep that one can only find in the tranquillity of the gentle farm life.

A warm, generous welcome awaited us! ( a group of 11). Tea, coffee, rusks in well appointed kitchen, even salt and pepper. Crisp white linen and a chocolate too! Braai packs, sandwiches for the fire and potato salad - very generous portions - were neatly packed in the fridge - one can order from a comprehensive list beforehand. The farmer came back to Waterkloof with his generator to help us with our vehicle - nothing was too much trouble! A real treat away from the city.

Lieflike plekkie. Die mak spingbokkie is so oulik. Plekkie was baie netjies. Sal defnitief weer 'n draai gaan maak.

Great setting and very relaxing setting by

We had a very enjoyable time at Waterkloof. We only stayed for 2 nights en route up the R62, but had a very nice time, and would have preferred to stay longer because it was so relaxing. The house is on a working farm, and it's great to experience the animals and environment. The house was immaculately clean - not something which you normally notice, but it was a pleasure to have a place with such high standards. Everything from the bedding, bathrooms, kitchen were spotless and fresh. The kitchen was well equipped, and had everything we needed. It was hot during the night, but the provided fans were great and we slept well. The views out over the Karoo are incredible, and you can spend hours relaxing, reading a book, and watching the light and the clouds change. Great place - we will be back with friends next time.

We loved our stay at the farm and only wish it had been longer. Nolene is an excellent host and the house had everything we needed. We enjoyed walking on the farm and our children loved interacting with the tame sheep and ostrich who were in the field next to the house.
