Waterberg Cottages is a family-orientated establishment and we have many activities to keep the kids occupied. these include our 15m heated pool, trampoline, children's adventure village, and sand play areas.

We offer a range of marked walking trails where guests can enjoy relaxing walks in beautiful bush and stunning views, and a range of dams that guests are welcome to fish in. Other activities include Hippo viewing, donkey cart rides, and horse riding at the world-famous Horizon Horseback Adventures.

Awesome Venue by

Awesome experience for our group of 11 people. The 'stoep', 'kaggel', kitchen, bedroom and all facilities are top class. Although only 2 hours from Pta, it felt as if we were in a different country. The hippo intrigued everybody. Kudu Lodge will definitely see us again.

Buttrfly Cottage 19-22 April 07 by

We had a lovely time at Butterfly Cottage. We got the rest we needed and enjoyed the fresh farm environment.

Unpleasantly surprised by

We stayed in Windsong which has lost all of its old world charm and is now just plain old and unmaintained. Doorknobs and locks don't work, handles missing from furniture. Curtains and linen are in very poor shape and of poor quality. The fabric on the valance in the livingroom was fastened with just some thumbtacks many years ago and doesn't seem to want to stay put anymore so it just hangs off. The couches and armchair are in terrible condition. Outside toilet had a pile of leaves on the lid because of a gap between the roof and wall. Loose and leaky taps, the list goes on. The farm is not fenced and there are no security measures in place. The only two positives is the jungle gym and the big stoep. I cannot speak of the other cottages but rather steer clear of winsdsong. The owners are not involved at all and don't seem to even care although so much emphasis is put on it being a family run establishment.

the walk , peaceful environment by

loved the garden, the view, the frogs, the birds, the chalet comfy. the noise by the locals partying all saturday with music blaring spoilt the serenety and peacefulness. give gps coordinates on website.

Enjoyed the stay by

We enjoyed the stay immensely. The Kudu Lodge has everything one would require for a comfortable stay, and such a lovely location.
