Villa Filao is located in Flic en Flac, Mauritius and is just a short walk from the beach.

The double-storey house has four bedrooms with double, single or queen-size beds. The rooms share the use of two bathrooms and three toilets. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering with a fridge-freezer, a stove, a kettle and the necessary utensils; it also includes a washing machine for convenience. The lounge has a Satellite TV and a DVD player. Guests can relax in the garden or cool down in the swimming pool. There is on-site parking and a security guard.

A few thinngs that definitely need some attention - 1) the oven not working at all and nothing to light the only 2 gas plates that work with 2)no decent knives and forks and those there looking shabby 3) no bowls for cereal? 4) TV with poor reception and green in colour 5) Linen on beds did not look clean, luckily there is a washing machine and I had to wash that myself 6) We phoned the person that met us at the villa when we arrived to ask if he can sort out the stove and TV and was told he will be there the next day, but we are still awaiting the arrival of this person. Positive points - close to beach and shops, nice location
