The rooms are furnished with a combination of double and single beds and the en-suite bathrooms have showers only. Air-conditioned for comfort, each room is equipped with a TV with DStv and tea and coffee facilities. One room also has a family room where guests can relax. Meals are available on request and at an additional cost.

Guests can enjoy their meals in the dining room or in the lovely garden. Those looking to explore can stroll along the streets which are lined with historic buildings, go on the Ou Dorp hiking trail through the older parts of town or visit the distillery. Various nature reserves can be visited in the area including the Faan Meintjies Nature Reserve, just 13 km from Klerksdorp. A wide range of restaurants and golf courses can also be found in the area.

nice place.. but the room needs attention..room 5.. the cold tap not working..shower door broken..and please the double bed is terrible.. scquiking the whole night...you cant dare to turn during the night..but iI must say it was very clean..and staff friendly

Frienly staff. Clean, unfortunately the cold water tap was not working in the washbasin in the bathroom.

I stayed here for 2 nights. The room appeared clean, but no extras like shower gel etc. There were 2 coffee sachets, a kettle and microwave. The room was not serviced. The staff appeared very dis-interested. It was nothing special.

Tolerable At Best by

Upon arrival my booking could not be found even though I fully paid in advance on SafariNow. After sending a picture of the receipt to the receptionist we were taken to a room.

The first room we were taken to was dirty, run down and smelled bad. I requested to move to a new room and was taken to a second room which also smelled terrible. I was then taken to a 3rd room which was clean enough and smelled good enough to be tolerable for one nights sleep.

Upon wanting to take a shower we discovered some of the towels had horrific stains on them and did not appear very sanitary so we had to use our own towels.

The staff however were friendly, what requests we did have were catered to and the room had a working TV, a fridge and an aircon.

I would not stay at this place again though...
