Tzaneen Guest House is located in Aqua Park, just two minutes' drive from the Tzaneen CBD. We offer 3 Star bed and breakfast accommodation accredited by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa. Comfort and relaxation is our way of thanking every guest who chooses to stay with us. Features include barbecue facilities, a swimming pool, and DStv and air-conditioners in the rooms. For security, we also have an electric gate and an electric fence.

Tzaneen is an attractive garden town with a colourful profusion of flowers and subtropical vegetation. The high rainfall and the warmth of the Lowveld ensure that everything grows here in abundance. Extensive emerald green plantations are close by and the surrounding mountain slopes are heavily forested with timber plantations of pine and blue gum. Tzaneen Guest House is a wonderful location for you to experience all the beauty the Tzaneen area has to offer.

The guest house is situated in a pleasant suburb of Tzaneen, within walking distance of the Tzaneen Dam wall. It is clean and comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Not overly impressed by

The service was basic but good. The place needs a facelift. The room was fine. It should be more clearly advertised that breakfast is an extra R 70 per person.

From bad to worse by

We drove from Johannesburg, had a workshop in the evening and the next day and, despite various requests, had nothing but cold water to shower with. Service is friendly yet inefficient. We could not get into the premises at 22.00 as the code did not work. Fortunately, we still had the booking details with us so we could call on the landline for them to open the security gate. We were given only one bath towel for two people. When we asked, they gave us one more hand towel. The chains to control the light/fan combination was broken off and we had to climb on the bed to reach them. No dustbin in the room. Third of a toilet roll in the toilet. Someone talking loudly on his cell phone at 05.30 next to our room window. There are no coffee facilities in the room. The question is - what were we paying for at this guest house???

Stay at Tzaneen Guesthouse by

Nobody at reception, Toilet need new seat, fix the broken things in the bathroom. Linen was clean and smelled fresh. Milk for the coffee would have been nice. Cockroach on the floor in the bedroom - in front of the cupboard. Value for money and good location.
