Tradewinds Lodge is set on the shores of the Indian Ocean, on South Africa's Sunshine Coast, overlooking the breakers and Pompana Bay. The pub, lounge, dining room, deck and pool area boast stunning 180-degree sea views where guests can watch the dolphins and whales pass by.

Accommodation is offered in 12 en-suite bedrooms, most with private decks, and one garden suite with a private patio, our honeymoon suite. All our rooms are air-conditioned and feature fans, DStv, and Wi-Fi facilities.

Atmosphere is magic by

I did enjoy my short stay at Tradewinds Lodge. It is excellent. The staff is friendly and professional, the atmosphere is magic!! the location is superb and the breakfast are marvellous! The lady who picked me up and drop me off again, at the airport, is a gem!! she is friendly and warm and kind. I will definitely recommend this place to everybody and will come back there in a year or two.

We spent four very comfortable nights at Tradewinds in December 2006. The breakfasts are wonderful and the views superb. We would certainly recommend Tradewinds to friends and family.

Beautiful with stunning decor. Friendly hospitable people's people. First class breakfasts. We really felt at home, it was most unusual but absolutely welcoming, to not find any "do not ..." or "wait for gate to close" type of signs. It felt like they said our home is your home, will definitely recommend Tradewinds Lodge and certainly visit them again. Thank you and keep up the good work.
