Mere meters away from the beach and her sandy white shores, The Whale Place offers guests unobstructed sea views, enjoyed from the house and secluded braai place with sheltered dining area.The Whale Place consists of two sections; these two sections comprise the House and the Flatlet. Please note that the flat is an extra optional expense. Comprising a house and flatlet, which can be rented as an extra, guests are accommodated in a true coastal living style. The house promises great whale watching in season, while fishing and swimming in the tidal pool can be enjoyed year round.A moderate climate insures some warm summer days and stormy winter nights, which are best enjoyed over a cup of hot chocolate and a few ghost stories.Please note that the house can accommodate up to six persons while the flatlet can accommodate up to two persons.

Fantastic venue by

This was one of the most beautiful and fully equipped places we ever stayed in. The agents Luke and Lynn never hesitated to help wherever they can like supplying us with a prawn pump. They contributed a lot to the fantastic to stay in Witsand. Because of the venue and the friendly agents we will definitely return soon.

A spot of seaside pleasure by

Very informative advice and assistance where necessary from Luke. Close access to beach and stunning sea view from the deck. Tidal pool nearby. All basic comforts provided. Most enjoyable and relaxing stay. Will definitely visit again.

Perfekt view over the bay by

The house is very nice and the view is stunning with direct footpath to the beach. We stayed with 2 adults and 2 kids and had a beautiful stay in Whitsand. It is calm and cosy. The kitchen is a dream for every hobby chef and fully equipped. Unfortunately it was very windy and we could not open the windows facing the sea. And there is no wifi.

Lovely,well appointed cottage, great location. Really enjoyed our stay.Only complaint is that you pay R350 cleaning fee and when we arrived the barbecue grid was filthy and difficult to clean and the shower floor was dirty and slimy.

Whale watching by

An amazing little home away from home. Very special sights of whales and the beach is spectacular to walk.
