The Small Hotel Robertson is everything but small,big on service,big on welcome and big on quality.We had a most pleasant stay in rooms that were so beautifully furnished in such fine taste. The decor, staff and hotel were absolutely lovely. The set menu for Valentines day which we were only advised about a couple of days before our stay was extremely disappointing even though they did make a few exceptions at my request. Knowing what the menu usually has to offer, this was a very second best choice and not what Rueben would have been very proud of. Also oddly enough, 'all' the lights in our bedroom kept on switching on all during the night for no apparent reason. This happened every hour or so which made the night very disturbed. Nevertheless, we would return but this time making sure there are no set menu's and we can eat what we choose.

Thoroughly relaxing by

We stayed in one of the top rooms with poolside terrace. Wonderful atmosphere, huge room and bathroom. Lovely evening meal well designed and served with delicious wine from excellent selection. Going here gave us the chance to drive the R62 from George via Oudtshoorn which provided stunning scenery along the way.
