the Ostrich Manor is a tranquil and intimate Eco Lodge situated within the Silkaatsnek Nature Reserve, which is part of the UNESCO Magaliesberg Biosphere.Silkaatsnek is home to some of Africa's magnificent wildlife, such as giraffe, zebra, kudu, nyala, waterbuck and over a 100 bird species, obviously including our symbol the ostrich.Overlooking the bushveld you will find our Self-catering Romantic Rondavel and Safari Tents. Besides Family Rooms, the Manor features a spacious Honeymoon Suite. All our accommodations have been decorated with eye for detail and we have managed to keep that authentic 1920's feeling, so our guests often wonder if ?'Out of Africa'' Karen Blixen will be joining them for breakfast!We offer Game Drives, Horseback Safaris, Bush Walks and Hikes to the top of the Magaliesberg Mountains, all of which can perfectly be combined with a Massage or Romantic Picnic.
