The Flower House is situated in Clarens, surrounded by mountainous splendour. The Rooiberge is the range encompassing the village, while further on towards the southeast, the mighty Malutis stand proud in shades of purple and blue.The Main House comprises three spacious bedrooms, an open-plan living area, a TV room and a fully equipped kitchen. The large lounge and TV area are separated from each other by a feature bookshelf filled with both interesting and inspirational reads. The dining room seamlessly integrates with both the living room and the kitchen. Furnishings throughout are an eclectic mix from all over the world, blending style and luxury while remaining comfortable and homely. Take your meals inside, or dine al fresco on either of the two patios with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains.All around the area are the sandstone cliffs with their multi-coloured layers; these horizontal strata are unique geological features of the area and are known as the Clarens Formations. The village has become known as the Jewel of the Free State, rich in beauty with an aura of peace and tranquility. The town is known for the many art and craft shops which offer the visitor a wide range of curios and original artwork. Clarens is also endowed with more trees than most other Free State towns; the fresh, light green willows and colourful blossoms of the many fruit trees are an unforgettable sight in spring time, while the magnificent autumn shades of the Lombardy poplars attract artists, photographers and nature lovers.
