Our charming Guest House is situated in a gated estate in Glen Gariff, on the Jikeleza Wild Coast, just 25km from East London.

The beautifully appointed units will leave you feeling relaxed and recharged, whether you are here on business or overnighting or looking for a long stay. All of the rooms overlook the river, where you can enjoys the peaceful sounds of birds, watch animals coming to the waters-edge and bask in the beauty of the uninterrupted views.

The beach is a short walk away and is beautiful for long walks, relaxing on the caramel sands and is truly a surfers paradise. Fishermen also enjoy casting a line off the scenic coastline and are able to launch their ski-boats at the nearby Kwelera launch site.

We arrived late, despite that, Janine & her husband were so accommodating. Helped us with our bags, gave us a warm welcome, entering into the house- the decor is so elegantly modern. Nature lovers would be delighted as you overlook the river while animals on the estate roam about. He was very knowledgeable about the area & could recommend as well as facilitate activities. It is such a gem in East London, well priced for what feels like a five star home with great service & would recommend everyone to book at Aloe house when in East London

The Aloe House is safe, modern and upmarket. We stayed in a very comfortable self catering unit with a kitchen, lounge and private patio with panoramic views over the river and rolling hills. From the deck we saw different buck, and many different birds from fish eagles to humming birds. The highlight was a family of warthogs. Just a short walk across the estate and you are on the beach. Very good value for money. Breakfast was included. Janine and Darryl are extremely friendly and hospitable. Thanks for a enjoyable and relaxing stay.
