SWARTBERG BACKPACKERS REVIEWS (90 %) We HEART Swartberg Packbackers :-) by Chanel Campher, South Africa 08 April 2016 My husband turned 40 on Sunday, 3 April 2016 and to celebrate this special birthday we decided to go on a "mini-roadtrip": Knysna-Oudtshoorn-Prince Albert-Matjiesfontein-Montagu-Barrydale and Riversdale. Both of us have always been in love with the Karoo and we were delighted when we arrived at the cosy Swartberg Backpackers and discovered the natural beauty of the area. While we were having a braai and enjoying the silhouette of the impressive, historic Swartberg Pass later that evening, we were joined by Louis and had one of the most enriching conversations ever...he gave us food for thought and valuable advice on various topics. One could not help but wish that the day would never end. Swartberg Backpackers is unpretentious yet luxurious and very intimate. When we left, it was with unforgettable memories, huge smiles and a warm feeling in our hearts.
