Facilities were very good however they were not cleaned at all in the four days that we were there. The best by Rita Adshade, South Africa 22 March 2011 What a wonderful weekend. This must be one of our best camping holidays ever. The extent the owners went to to ensure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed was surreal.
Brilliant facilities, well maintained and immaculatly clean. The fishing was good too! Lovely Heritage Weekend at Stonechat by Georgia Brown, South Africa 25 September 2012 Great braai area and scullery with fridges, awesome ablutions, lovely clean dams, so much for my children to do - zip line, jungle gym, walking, swimming in the very clean dams, canoe and great fishing. Fantastic service from the owners, and just a great quick camping getaway from the city, with clean air, and lovely views. What a nice place to stop! by Wendy Ellington, South Africa 09 July 2013 We recently purchased a caravan and decided we would take advice of many and not travel more than 4 or 5 hours per day. I booked here for a night. It was a lovely stopover but in fact we decided that we could stay 3 or 4 nights in warmer weather and just let the children swim and my husband fish! Sadly they had a flood and there were no fish jumping but although there is road noise, it did not other us. Wayne was very helpful bringing a braai to our site, provided us with lovely wood. The ablutions were spotless and even when there are the other 11 sites filled up, I can see it will be clean and neat. There is a lovely outside and large inside kitchen wash up. 3 shower rooms with dressing area. One bath - that's the ladies. All in all, we enjoyed our stay. Thank you!
