great place to stay by

Great overnight stay for us who are not seafarers. Comfortable bed with clean en suite bathroom. Such fun having morning coffee and biscuits on the gentle swell of the ocean. It's like a good class B&B complete with chocolates on pillows. Enjoyed relaxing on the deck at the back of the boat. Only downside is the slightly wobbly gangplank which definitely discourages any thoughts of leaving the boat after sundown drinks. However, the owner assured us a new gangplank was in process. Totally recommend as something different weekend getaway.

Triple AAA rating by

What an awesome evening we had on board the Angra Pequena! What an awesome vessel! this boat was extremely clean and organised. And very comfortable. We should have booked for more nights! If you are a boat and sea lover, this is highly recommended! Jean made us feel very welcome and we really enjoyed our stay.

A little taste of a sailor's dream by

A great alternative to stay while visiting durban, our kids loved the experience, the staff was great, the motivation to
Support marine life research by staying on the boat is a plus!

We spent three nights on board the delightful Angra Pequena and could easily have stayed for more. We were welcomed by Jean and James and didn't want for anything during our stay. Jean even provided a yoga mat for me!

Time on board was spent relaxing and marveling at the beauty of this historic craft and enjoying the surrounding scenery. Occasionally we ventured off to nearby attractions but were always happy to return to our accommodation.

We had such a special, unique experience which I can wholly recommend!
