A lovely peaceful farm. The food is great! The staff are very hospitable. Loved it.

HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED by

As custom we booked and paid 50% deposit for a selfcatering cottage with patio/braai facilities. Upon arrival we were told by the lady in charge that she had tried to sms us (an hour beforehand) to tell us that not only was there no braai facility for us and she had assigned that to a group of 8 SA hunters in the room next door to us; basically we get out of our room onto the stoep with 8 guys braaing and us not being able to - not ideal with a toddler with respect to the noise and not what we had booked and paid a deposit for. She did offer seats in the restaurant and we could order a meal there or alternatively go and look for other accomodation elsewhere and she'd refund us. We opted for the latter and left our bank details trusting the deposit would be paid into our account. Not only has it not been paid in; after having written 3 emails to them they have not had the courtesy to apologise or even respond at all! Very very 'zwak' indeed, Fam Viljoen Grabouw Western Cape
