Porcupine Hills Guest Farm

Porcupine Hills Guest Farm is located on an olive farm in the Overberg along the beautiful Van der Stel Pass. It is 32 kilometres from Grabouw and 20 kilometres from Bot River. Accommodation is provided in seven self-catering units, including three river cottages.

Eyrie House is the largest unit that can accommodate six guests in three en-suite bedrooms. There is an outdoor braai area with seating. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is also a swimming pool, large deck, comfortable chairs and a private garden.

The Farmhouse is ideal for couples or families and is on a hill overlooking the cliff. Sleeps six guests in two en-suite bedrooms. The double-volume sitting area has a fireplace and leads to a covered patio with a dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is also a swimming pool in the garden and outdoor braai facilities.

Klipbox is ideal for a group as there is ample space and comfortable bedrooms. This renovated farmhouse sleeps eight guests in four en-suite bedrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a fridge-freezer and a seating area and undercover kitchen. There is also a bar and dining area opposite the large braai and boma with camp chairs. This unit is along the river with a view of the poplar forest and the surrounding hills.

Caracal Cottage sleeps two guests and features an en-suite bedroom and an open-plan kitchen and living area. The lounge area has a comfortable lounge set and the covered terrace has braai facilities and a dining table. There is also a mountain splash pool with sun loungers in the communal garden.

Mongoose Chalet features a sleeping area, en-suite bathroom and a kitchenette. The undercover patio has outdoor furniture. This unit is only available if booked with Caracal or Dassie Cottage.

Dassie Chalet is in the poplar forest on the other side of the Mongoose Chalet and offers a small natural forest garden next to a stream. The chalet has a patio with a private garden and braai facilities.

The Rondawel is in the river between oak trees and the rock pool. There are two bedrooms built on the rondavel leading to the river. The unit can accommodate up to four guests.

Activities on the farm include mountain biking, swimming, bird watching and 4x4.
