Home in the seaside village of Melkbosstrand, this quaint accommodation is right on the beach and well-acquainted neighbours with the reaping waves of the Atlantic Ocean that allows for hours of beach strolling, surfing and remarkable sunsets. We have our own water supply and also an Ozone therapy room at a fee, should you like to spoil yourself!

A mere 35 kilometres out of Cape Town, the accommodation offers two guests or a couple a relaxing retreat. The unit is well equipped with facilities that will make you stay all that more comfortable and the quiet surrounding area will set a peaceful ambiance. Though the unit is part of the main house, it hosts a separate entrance and a private parking area.

The house is literally on the beachfront and enjoys panoramic sea views of Robben Island, Table Mountain and her surrounding bay. The Old Skip Caravan Park is right opposite the On the Beach accommodation, and if the beach does not suit, their refreshing pool is available.

Lovely, quiet, private, great value for money by

I stayed here for one night after I attended a function in Melkbos. The owners phoned me during the evening to inquire whether I was all right, and offered to come and collect me after midnight. The cottage is neat and clean. There's an extra blanket for cold winter evenings, with fresh towels laid out on the bed. I jumped straight into bed and found a little chocolate hidden under my pillow - what a nice touch! Thanks Una and Hennie, you'll see me again.

We had a wonderful weekend at On the Beach, Una was awesome, what a caring person. The house was amazing, very clean, tidy and oh so comfortable. Everything your need you will find in the house The beach was really on our doorstep and what an amazing view. I will definitely recommend anyone to go for a weekend/holiday. I will definitely go again.
