Obiekwa Country House is located in the picturesque and quaint village of Riebeek Kasteel; with its wine estates, gourmet restaurants, festivals and weddings.

The country house is set in a quiet cul-de-sac and sleeps up to six guests in three luxury bedrooms. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with either a bath or a shower. There is an open-plan living and dining area leading out to a large covered patio, with a barbecue area overlooking an adjoining vineyard.

There is also a swimming pool near the vines to cool down in on warm summer days.

We had a lovely weekend at Obiekwa Country House. The house is very comfortable and beautifully decorated and the pool was a very welcome feature on a warm Saturday afternoon. Kent, the owner, was very helpful. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
The only thing (which didn't worry us but may others) is there is no microwave.


Escape to the country by

The country house was in the most beautiful little town...the location of the cottage is perfect, being just outside of the main streets, but close enough to be able to walk into the centre of town .Very peaceful and and well equipped for self catering.Would have liked bigger bath towels and more of them and more than one hand towel.More toilet roll.It was very hot at this time of the year so an air conditioner would have been welcome in the bedrooms.Overall very nice house and would definitely return for a second visit.The pool was also very welcome

The weather was uncomfortably hot and an aircon unit in each bedroom would have been great. Also, maybe install a dishwasher in the kitchen. Otherwise, our stay was perfect.

We felt very at home in this stunning, comfortable home away from home. The house has a large, well maintained garden with beautiful views of the mountains and adjacent vineyards, as well as a lovely pool to cool down in. The self-contained room, with bathroom and kitchenette also has its own separate verandah and built-in braai. Can't wait to return!
