Oasis Lodge - Zanzibar

Tuli Block is situated on the south eastern border of Botswana, here travellers will find Oasis Lodge Zanzibar. The lodge offers guests 13 Suites, four campsites, as well as a River Chalet and a Rondavel, fusing luxury with a bushveld atmosphere.

Each of the campsites features electricity and water, with shared ablution facilities. The lovely Suites are comfortably furnished with twin, king- or queen-size beds and have private bathrooms. Each Suite is also air-conditioned and equipped with a TV, as well as tea and coffee-making facilities. The River Chalet and Rondavel are furnished with twin beds and have private bathrooms. The units are equipped with a TV and fans and tea and coffee facilities are also provided. The entire camp is carpeted with green lawns, while the sparkling pool offers a perfect retreat from the midday heat.

The area is rich in wildlife since most of the surroundings is unfenced, allowing the animals to roam freely between the Motloutse and Limpopo Rivers. Over 350 species of birds have been identified in the area, including rock thrushes, boulder chats, shrikes and cormorants, making it a great environment for bird watchers.

Attractions in the area also include Solomon's Wall, which is a fascinating and dramatic geographical feature of 30 metre high sheer basalt cliffs, once forming a natural dam across the Motloutse River. The Tuli area is also famous for its Tswapong and Lepokole hills, and has a fascinating frontier history because of its strategic position along the South African border.
