Nuwejaarsrivier B&B is situated on a working farm just off the R43 towards Bot River and Kleinmond.

The lovely house offers guests a choice of three bedrooms that are furnished with either a double bed or two single beds. Each room has an en-suite bathroom with a shower and opens onto a balcony or patio with lovely views of the surrounds. A kitchen is located on the ground floor and is equipped with a small two-plate stove and tea and coffee facilities, and guests can relax in the communal lounge which is equipped with a TV. The house has a lapa with braai facilities and a full breakfast is served in the adjoining main house every morning. Parking is available and entry to the farm is gained through a security gate.

The farm offers guests the opportunity to do some trout fishing, birdwatching or go on hikes and walks. Golfers have a choice of more than four golf courses located within a short drive and guests can also explore Bot River and Kleinmond, which are both ideal for day trips.

Excellent by

Friendly, warm hosts. Big, tasty breakfast. Slept wonderfully. Beautiful and peaceful environment. Would recommend to anyone.

A real farm life get away by

The views were breathtaking. The Braai lapa was a fantastic way to bond and just relax and have a good time. The rooms were spacious and fairly neat. You could take long walks all around the farm. It was just absolutely splendid. The breakfasts prepared by the hostess was 5 star quality. The hosts were very friendly and hospitable although we would have liked to see a little less of them. We felt out privacy was a little bit invaded, especially with the interconnected door to the main house and the kitchen/tv room being used by the hostess.

Simplistic and hospitable by

Wonderful place to stay as an overnight for a wedding instead of driving back late to Cape Town. Very friendly and hospitable hosts. Comfy and spacious rooms.

Only there for one night unfortunately, but very friendly people(and dog!! ). Excellent rate per night @ R615.
