Koos se Kardoes offers comfortably self-catering accommodation situated in a quiet part of town, in Mokopane. This is the ideal stopover for traveller en-route to Botswana, Zimbabwe and the Kruger National Park.

There is a total of four air-conditioned units available, all with private entrances and en-suite bathrooms. The units are equipped with TVs, tea and coffee facilities, microwaves, bar fridges and rusks.

The property has an enclosed swimming pool, a braai area and secure parking. The area is typical bushveld with many acacia trees and aloes, which display their beautiful blooms in June and July.

Helpful hosts, friendly and made us feel welcome. Accommodation peaceful, comfortable and clean. All necessary facilities provided to make for a pleasant stay. Well situated in Potgietersrus with easy access to the shops, restaurants. Thanks for the stay!

I would never EVER recommend this destination! There is no visible identifying signage. You have to guess. The furniture is dilapidated, not in a charming antique way but in a cheap way. That wouldn't be the end of the world but most of the furniture is broken and all of it is covered in a layer of dust. The bed-side lamp is a full length living room lamp with a broken switch. Things only get worse when you enter the bathroom. There is a black ring in the bath about which I dare not speculate and more dust - lots more dust. The flower arrangements are so old they disintegrate if you look in their direction. We were told there would be coffee, sugar and rusks for breakfast. There were, but the rusks had been there so long there was some kind of fungus growing on them. To sum up, if you are thinking about staying here....DON'T.
