CANE CUTTERS ESTATE (73 %) Peaceful hide-out by Peter Blid, Sweden 28 December 2005 Charming and tastefully equiped guest house, with well kept bird-park as a bonus. Warm, generous and helpful hosts in Annemarie and Jeff. Close to both St Lucia, the beach and the Hluhluwe/Imfolozi park. Well suited for longer stays as well as shorter (we stayed for 5 days). Good restaurant on the premises. Actuallynothing! by Flo Potgieter 18 September 2017 There was not anything to love. The mosquitos carried us away. There are a few things that was not good at all: I booked 2 en-suite bedrooms, that was not the case. The one bedroom does not even have a cupboard, the litter basket must be kept in front of the door to prevent it from closing all the time. Drainage in the shower is very poor, The stove seems to never be cleaned also the furniture. We unfortunately left our binoculars at home....actually needed that to see the tiny television. The notices put up on the walls need a LOT of spelling and tenses correction. Not a good advert! The price was tooooo much for what we got! Unfortunately, previous visitors to Unit 1 smoked so the unit smelt horrible. It permeates everything. My daughter also had 2 shirts go "missing" which we know she had packed because they were not at home on our return. This does sour a stay that we enjoyed. CANE CUTTERS ESTATE
