Would have been 4 Stars if not for by

First the good points: Rio Vista is located on the banks of the Crocodile River overlooking the Kruger Park and offers the possibility of seeing wildlife from The Deck Restaurant - which we thoroughly enjoyed. It is also about 10 minutes away from the Malelane Gate to the KNP. The rooms are well-appointed and have good facilities. Our stay was however spoilt by the dirtiness of the rooms and the corridors. It appears that the only "cleaning" that is ever done is making up the beds and changing the towels, I don't think anyone ever checks if the rooms have been properly cleaned. The carpets and floors were dirty, the balcony was never cleaned in the 3 days we spent there, and the list goes on. I would gladly have given Rio Vista 4 or maybe 4 and half stars, but I can't.

Just want to thank the staff at Rio Vista Lodge for their friendly service and hospitality. We made a last minute booking due to unforeseen circumstances and our request for availability was dealt with quickly and efficiently. Thank you to Anita for showing care and concern to all the guests by greeting and chatting. We'll definitely recommend the accommodation to friends and would love to come stay again in future.
