It has accommodation in stand alone chalets that boost privacy of the guests, all the chalets have private balconies overlooking Hluhluwe Imfolozi park of big five animals and mountains. This bush style lodge is a peaceful property which is between the rural land and the game park which is 150m from the fence line of the park, at night you hear the lion, hyena calling and see the stars at night while having a boma dinner.

Priceless view over the park during the rainy season, even if you hear rather than see big animals (we heard lion). Sitting up on that commanding view in front of your cabana with a beer, enjoying the near & far landscape's rich detail, listening to the world-beating birdsong, you almost feel sorry for the poor schmucks you can see trundling along the roads of the park in their rumbling vehicles, dead to all the nuances of the bushveld. In all, this is a place for those who like the unworn groove...

Requirements are not met by

Good day, The demarcation of the turnoff to the resort is very poor. The road leading up to the resort is a single two-track road, that can be a challenge for persons with passenger vehicles during the rainy season as we experienced this weekend. There were no towels in the unit when we booked in after half-past four. We drove to Hluhluwe to buy some towels. The hand basin is loose from the wall. The taps are not fixed and turn when you want to open the tap. The shower shorts a panel on the one side, that results in the floor being wet and possess as a slip hazard. The unit accommodates 5 persons, however, there is only one 500mm towel rail in the bathroom and no other place to hang the towels. There is only a small bar fridge in the unit, and not suitable for the unit for 5 persons. Not enough space to keep the required goods cold. The Gas stove installation is not to the SABS standards, and the gas bottle stands behind the stove inside the kitchen. The hot water tap is not connected and we had to boil water in the kettle to wash the dishes. No soap, sponge and dishcloth available in the kitchen to clean and wash up dishes. Regards
