The Kingfisher Country Cottages & Trout

We offer fly fishing, hiking, MTB riding and bird viewing. Do remember to bring your camera, as the photo opportunities are limitless around the dams and the nature surrounding the lodge.

The Kingfisher Lodge has 4 trout dams (that are stocked well), and we have a wild dam, for the bass, and carp fishing. The blesbok roam free, and the waterfall is a must this time of the year. If you need to get away, and just enjoy the quiet and peaceful nature, with stunning views over the plantations and valley below, then this is the place for you.

The restaurant caters for breakfast, lunch and supper, and although this is self-catering, we find people want to mingle and spoil themselves by eating in the restaurant. We have a fully Licensed bar. We also have a shop for emergency items you may have forgotten, and we sell ice, wood and charcoal as well as cold drinks and sweets.

Swimming Pool Onsite. The rare "Bold Ibis" breeds in the kloof and you will see the occasional Fish Eagle.
Pets are allowed as long as they have their own beds to sleep in and if outside they are always on a leash due to the fact that there are other animals on the farm.
