The Shack

The River Shack is a remote piece of heaven on earth located in a nature reserve on the banks of the Blind River. This rustic holiday home is the perfect getaway for guests who love absolute privacy, nature and the sea. The accommodation is right next to the river with breathtaking views, it is the perfect getaway where you can relax and be one with nature.

The house is tastefully decorated and sleeps eight guests and has four bedrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with an open-plan layout that has a bath and a shower. The second bedroom has a double bed, while the other two bedrooms each have two single beds. These bedrooms share a second bathroom that has a shower.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave and a counter with chairs. For the cold evenings there is a fireplace inside which is perfect along with a delicious meal and a glass of wine.

The balcony is just the place to enjoy breathtaking views of the river, the dunes and the pristine beaches that stretch for miles in front of you. The braai deck is again perfect for hanging out with your family and friends. There are stairs right next to the braai deck that will take you all the way to the river. Guests can relax on the lovely lawns and watch the children play, or you can take the rowing skis and explore the water. Just a few meters from The River Shack there is a beautiful boardwalk that leads to the beach.
