Nestled in the heart of the 36,000ha Welgevonden Game Reserve, Shibula Solar Safari Lodge is closely situated to the best game viewing areas and hugs the banks of a scenic river and has magnificent views of the overhanging cliffs where the antics of the resident baboon troop entertain guests.

This malaria free reserve, where the Big 5 roam freely, is home to an extraordinary diversity of plant and animal life as well as over 350 species of birds. It is a Biosphere Reserve by the United Nations and encompasses some important historic and pre historic sites.

Shibula Solar Safari Lodge is an eco-lodge that runs off solar power and is home to the very first solar electric vehicle on the Welgevonden Game Reserve.

There is also a 20m long pool to enjoy!
