de Charmoy Estate is an owner run guest house on almost five acres of land. The rooms are spread over four buildings set on the property. We have an abundant bird life in our garden with the weaver birds nesting in the same tree annually. We have a lovely animal farm and children's jungle gym. We are a function venue and can arrange any function you may wish to have. We offer bed and breakfast to our clients served in our lovely boma. We offer dinner on request. De Charmoy Estate is situated inland on an old Sugar Cane farm and is 5km from King Shaka International Airport. We offer two swimming pools and a heated Jacuzzi in the garden. Use of the Jacuzzi is by appointment and is an extra charge. If the client's require transfers or tours we will arrange this on their behalf.

Seven stunning en-suite rooms all have private entrances, air-conditioners and DStv. There is a fabulous outdoor bar and entertainment area. Guests can also make use of the barbecue facilities, swimming pool and Jacuzzi which adds a wonderful touch to a romantic tropical getaway. Secure on-site parking is available.

Gateway Theatre of Shopping is a ten-minute drive and Pavilion Shopping Centre, La Lucia Mall and flea markets are also not far. Sibaya Casino and Sun Coast Casino are a short drive away, including the centre of Durban.

One of the most beautiful Golf Estates in South Africa Mount Edgecombe Country Club, is just an eight-minute drive away. Zimbali and Beachwood Country Club are also close. A shuttle service to these venues can be arranged. It is a five-minute drive to Umhlanga Hospital; consequently De Charmoy Estate Guest House is an ideal choice for rehabilitation.
