Maya's Retreat is a spacious self-catering house situated a short drive from the ocean, and is just off the main road. The house can comfortably sleep ten people and is ideal for families looking for a large well equipped house.

There are four spacious bedroom in this house and a large open-plan living area. Three of the four bedroom have en-suite bathrooms. The open-plan kitchen includes all modern facilities, a dining table and breakfast counter. The living room has large comfortable sofas facing the TV. An additional entertainment room has braai facilities and a TV.

Maya's Retreat is in a safe and secure gated resort excellent for water sport and fishing, beautiful beach walks and has an abundant bird life.

Very nice house with good facilities. We also had a very trustworthy and compotent domestic worker twice a week (included in the booking) Only 2 problems: the braai room was locked and couldn't be used and the washing machine was broken. The owner however provided a laundry service.

A quiet beach by

We enjoyed our stay at Maya's Retreat and the place was spotlessly clean on arrival. If you are looking for a quiet holiday the Mgwalana is the place to go to. There is no access to the 4th bathroom or the indoor braai area from the inside of the house, which proved challenging. The indoor braai also does not work very well as the room becomes very smokey, instead of the smoke excaping through the chimney. That been said, overall the accommodation was comfortable and value for money.
