TANKWA (70 %) Owner needs to manage the place a bit more and pay more attention to his guests by Rob Verhagen Thursday, 26 December 2019 This place used to be really good, but has fallen into a bit of dis-Repair. Owner needs to do a re-think on how he runs the place and treats guests.
The owner didn't even know that we had booked the accommodation, however he was the one who accepted it when I booked a month ago. We had to pay again as he claimed that we had not paid and had no record of our booking. He still owes us money.
The place in general is a nice venue, lekker bar, lekker place to braai and eat. In terms of sleeping units, they are very rustic, beds are uncomfortable, toilets and bathroom are not cleaned, yes there is little water, but at least use some cleaning products and tidy up a bit. Bins at our remained full the entire time we were there, wasn't emptied even once. If you come here, bring your own tent and your own facilities, the cost of their accommodations is really not worth what we paid. All that is provided is a place to sleep, an understocked bar, a mini and filthy restaurant, electricity, braai places, showers and toilets. I wouldn't recommend staying more than a day as owner doesn't really care about who is staying and who is not. Place is managed by two overworked (work 7 days a week, 16 hours a day) individuals (what is labour law?)
