Rhodene Farm Cottages

Welcome to Rhodene! We have ten self-catering luxury cottages and a modern farm house: Three cottages on Rhodene and seven cottages & the farm house on Voëlvlei.

Only an hour and a half's drive from Cape Town, and 500m off a tarred road, the farm is situated at the foot of the Skurweberg mountains with a view across the lush Ceres valley. You may wish to relax at your cottage, walk or cycle in the mountain or fish in our dam. Within a radius of 50km are many wineries that offer very affordable and drinkable wines.

All cottages are fully equipped for self-catering. Each cottage is fitted with built-in cupboards and counters, a TV, select DStv bouquet channels, a fridge with freezer compartment, stove with oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery and all utensils. Each cottage / unit has under-floor heating and /or a fireplace for our cold winters and fans for the summer.

The farm house also has a fireplace, under-floor heating, oil heaters, roof fans and air-conditioning. Each unit has an outside stoep and braai facilities; only one cottage with an indoor braai. Bedding and towels are supplied. Wi-Fi at all the cottages with limited free access. We do not allow pets and also no day visitors.

In the heart of the Witzenberg, in the midst of the Cape Winelands lies the beautiful town of Ceres. This quaint town is surrounded by mountains and breath-taking beautiful passes. Its tranquil atmosphere makes it the ideal place to unwind. During summer we experience blue skies and windless days while in winter we experience more sunny days than rainy ones which makes it the favourite all year round destination.
