Lord Canarvon Guest House offers modern accommodation in this beautiful Karoo house, built in 1886 by Frans Carel Te Water. The house has been restored to its former glory, evoking memories of a bygone era of Karoo grandeur.

The guesthouse provides accommodation in 21 air-conditioned rooms, all including satellite TVs and en-suite bathrooms. The guesthouse is furnished with a mixture of modern facilities, and Karoo antiques.

Guest can relax in the communal lounge with a warm fireplace for the cold winter nights. Enjoy a selection of traditional Karoo meals on request at the guest house or at one of the local restaurants. There are braai facilities on-site, as well as secure parking.

What a nice place! It's beautifully decorated. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Pieter and the staff are friendly and helpful.


Great Host by

Pieter was a very attentive host.  The guesthouse is lovely with lots of beautiful things.  Lovely breakfast too.
