Tucked away among tall trees, under the gaze of the solemn Amatola Mountains, lies Wattle Chop. It is only 7 km from Stutterheim. Wattle Chop has a beautiful trimmed lawn dotted with trees; a perfect site for camping. Not far from the camping area are self catering cabins, fully equipped including linen and towels. 

A dam with a raft and canoes entertains all for hours. Wattle Chop is sufficiently removed from town to make it feel like a different place but close enough for convenience. The perfect getaway for anyone, whether on business or pleasure.

It was very comfortable,convenient,clean and within reach of all amenities and activities within the area.The Accommodation had the necessary facilities to accommodate a family of four adults.Comfortable mattresses and bedding.Perfect TV reception.Owner very helpful and friendly.Overall nine out of ten.

If you looking for a tranquil place to just relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of nature, this is the place to be. Lovely accommodation neat and clean and Tracey was very friendly and assisted with all our needs.





Beautifull cabins in tranquil surroundings, neat, clean and well equipped. Excellent host! The electricity was of on the 21st of Dec and she even brought us a cadac gasbottle to make coffee!
