The Joint

The Joint Backpackers boasts views of the Swartberg Mountains and offers guests comfortable backpacker accommodation just 2 km from Oudtshoorn's town center. The backpacker accommodation offers a range of rooms and wooden houses, all of which share the use of a kitchenette, a bar and ablution facilities.

Each room has 2 single beds and the wooden houses each have a three-quarter bed. The communal ablution facilities have 4 showers and 4 toilets. Guests have access to the communal bar and a kitchenette equipped with a microwave, a fridge and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Communal braai facilities and parking for 8 vehicles are available.

Oudtshoorn is a town in the Klein Karoo area of South Africa's Western Cape. It's known for its ostrich farms and rests along the Route 62 wine route. Oudtshoorn offers a variety of popular attractions such as the Cango Wildlife Ranch, the Cango Ostrich Farm, the world-famous Cango Caves, and the CP Nel and CJ Langenhoven museums. There are also several hiking, hiking, mountain biking and 4x4 trails in the area.
