All appliances and furniture were functional and the beds clean and comfortable. The owners were friendly and helpful. However, the place could do with a lot of modernising. Everything looked like it was from the eighties, including the rusting hot-plate. Drains were half-blocked and doors swollen so that they were difficult to open and close.

A pleasant surprise in Knysna by

Our stay at Lakeside Motel was a great experience. The owner, Andre, was welcoming and helpful, the accommodation and facilities were much more than anticipated, the convenience of the location wonderful, and the price very good.
