Perfect location, we could cool off in the river right outside several times a day. Very friendly host, and a room that has everything you need. We had a great time!

We had the most amazing time at River Goose. The room was impeccable, with beautiful rustic furnishings and lots of natural light. The room leads onto an incredibly lush garden, and on the other side of the house is a gorgeous pebbled river you can wade and splash it. The house itself is an absolute gem: every part of it has been put together with love, great taste and careful thought. The feeling one gets staying there is one of total calm and Zen. Jane was a magnificent host--gracious, warm, helpful, accommodating. We felt like we were staying over at an old friend. We could not recommend River Goose highly enough!
