Welcome to Sionshoop Guest Farm. A place of rest and relaxation surrounded by nature in its purest form.
We offer four luxurious, fully equipped self-catering cottages, with warm countryside hospitality and an on-site function venue that accommodates 25 guests for dinner functions, family reunions, intimate weddings and birthday celebrations. Enjoy a spitbraai event or make use of our built-in pizza oven for a unique gathering. We are located in Van Wyksdorp, 3.8 km from Van Wyksdorp Mall and other local gems.
Sionshoop has a beautifully kept vegetable garden, olive trees, on-site picnic spots and accessible hiking and mountain bike trails.
The kids get to enjoy the trampoline on-site and the local swimming dam is a mere 2km away, making it an ideal excursion by foot, bike or motor-vehicle.
All units include a fully equipped kitchen, allowing guests to prepare their own meals. We do however offer braai packs and catering services on request if arranged in advance and at an additional cost depending on your requirements.
Each two-bedroom cottage offers a semi-private terrace with braai facilities and unsurpassed sunrise views.
Waterhole is 5 km from Sionshoop, while Surveyor Beacon is approximately 8 km from the property.
The nearest airport is George Airport, located 86 km from our guest farm.
We invite guests from around the world to experience our hospitality and we are proficient in English and Afrikaans.

Peace, tranquillity , fresh air and beautiful night skies by

Enjoyed the cat visits,milk in the fridge and a lovely bed and linen, walking oppie koppie and swimming in the dam was fun.

Silence that makes you feel like you are in a vacuum. Thousands of stars so bright and so close you become part of the universe. After a long day of driving, you can't beat being welcomed with a fresh-from-the-oven ciabatta nestling on the countertop. Such a charming and spotless cottage and a warm and comfy bed. Nellie is engaging and helpful and spoilt us with delicious homemade mutton curry and rice. Our visit was timed during the alignment of 4 planets and we were provided with hammocks to lie on our backs allowing us to simply disappear into the myriad of stars and planets. Thanks for the hospitality and for sharing your gorgeous spot with us and our dog.
