Mossel Bay is a harbour town on the Garden Route in South Africa's Western Cape Province. The peninsula that forms Mossel Bay lies at a unique confluence between the warm Indian Ocean and the Outeniqua mountains, creating a shallow bay where whales, sharks, seals and dolphins frolic. It's known for the calm and beautiful Santos Beach and the 19th-century Cape St. Blaize Lighthouse.
