Vaal Dam Getaway

Vaal Dam Getaway is a solar-powered, self-catering holiday home in an estate overlooking the Vaal Dam. The property offers an ideal tranquil break from busy city life, with lovely dam views to admire during your stay.

This free-standing house can accommodate up to 12 guests (maximum 8 adults) and comprises three bedrooms and a loft area as an additional sleeping area. The main bedroom contains a double bed and an en-suite bathroom equipped with a bath, shower, basin and toilet. The second bedroom has a double bed and has access to a separate bathroom fitted with a shower, basin and toilet. The third bedroom is upstairs and has a double and single bed, while one double bed and three additional single beds are available in the loft area. The third bathroom in the loft area has a bath, shower, basin and toilet.

The kitchen contains a fridge-freezer, a gas stove, an oven, a microwave, and a dishwasher. A laundry area equipped with a washing machine is also available. The living area offers comfortable couches to relax on, a TV with DStv channels, and a dining area.

The house opens onto a patio with a built-in braai, a bar and outdoor furniture, which overlooks a fire pit.
Guests can experience spectacular sunsets and night views of Deneysville and the dam wall. Sightings of free-roaming animals such as springbok, zebra, and ostrich are common.

Guests are welcome to bring their equipment for fishing, camping, canoeing, kayaking, and windsurfing, which can all be enjoyed during the stay.
