Stayover by

We used Meerkat Manor as a stayover to Inhambane in Mozambique. The hosts were friendly and the guest house was excellent in all aspects.

Disappointing by

After a long trip in the heat I was expecting more for the price. With advertised fantastic views, air conditioning and DSTV we expected a great stopover. The furnishings are top notch, people friendly and hospitable. But...there is no view; air conditioning is restricted to the kids room - not adequate for whole space; DSTV is a cut down version limited to re-runs; hot water is powered by a gas geyser which is not compatible with the shower which means alternates between scalding hot and cold.
