Situated in the leafy town of Phalaborwa, Luso Country Lodge offers guests a comfortable and affordable stay. It is ideal for business or leisure travellers visiting this part of Limpopo.

There are nine comfortably furnished guest rooms available, of which some have one single bed plus one double bed, and others have only one double bed per unit. Private bathrooms and kitchenettes are available in each unit. The kitchenette consists of a bar fridge, tea and coffee facilities, a kettle and a microwave, ideal for basic self-catering needs.

A delicious breakfast is available as well as laundry services on request at an additional cost at our Villa Luso Restaurant which is situated 3km's from Luso Country Lodge.

Guests can relax on the beautiful manicured lawn or appreciate the stunning weather while unwinding in the lapa.

Kruger National Park and Groot-Letaba Wildreservaat Wildlife Reserve is just a short distance away and provides guests with many game-viewing opportunities. The lodge is therefore ideal for nature enthusiasts and guests looking for a truly memorable stay.

Rooms are clean, staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable. It is just 15min drive to the Kruger Park and therefore very convenient for Safaris.

Our family of 11 adults stayed at Luso Country Lodge.  The rooms were clean and spacious and the garden neat.  Unfortunately, this is where it ends.  The receptionist was not welcoming at all.  Her baby was in reception and it looked like it was an effort for her to get up and help us.  We noticed a very big sign on the outside wall of the lodge advertising FREE BREAKFAST FOR 2 with each room at vILLA Luso.  When I enquired about this at the reception on Sunday morning, I found a highly incompetent male at reception.  He didn't even bother to get up to assist me.  I asked whether we should book for breakfast, and he's only reply was "it is at vILLA Luso".  I went on to ask the times when breakfast is served - he's response was "8-11".  When we wanted to make coffee, we found only 2 cups in the 3 sleeper rooms?  We then also discovered some rooms didn't have any sugar.  When we asked for sugar at reception, we were told "they are out of stock" We decided to drive to vILLA Luso for breakfast.  Upon our arrival, there was nobody in sight.  the front door was locked, no lights on or any indication of an operating lodge.  We knocked but nobody responded.  We called the cell phone number on the sign, but it was switched off.  We called the land line number on the sign, but got through to reception at Luso County lodge.  It felt like we stayed at a "truck stop" and I will certainly not recommend these 2 lodges to anybody who does not want to be misled by false advertising and disgusting reception services.
