The location, grounds and scenery are magnificent but I wonder if this hotel should be open in winter. When we arrived our room was freezing and we had to request an additional heater. Equally the dining room was cold, particularly in the mornings, and guests were having to wear outdoor clothes to eat their meals. The service was very good but choice of evening meals was very limited.
