Meerhof Lodge is a charming four-star lodge with self-catering cottages. It has beautiful views over the water and onto the Magaliesberg mountains. The lodge is situated opposite the Bird Sanctuary and offers wonderful bird life.

Cottages range from one to five bedroom units with lounge and kitchens, DSTV, air conditioning units and tea/coffee stations allowing for families and groups of various sizes to enjoy time-out in Harties. The gardens have private bomas with braai/dining facilities as well as splash pools.

Meerhof Lodge is situated in the ?Heart' of Hartbeespoort or the Magalies Valley. Game Parks, Health spas and a great variety of activities all within 20-30 minutes drive from the Lodge.

Our room was over looking the dam and Mike and Wendy absolutely make you feel at home. They out of the way to ensure you have a good time and are very willing to lend what ever you may require for a day on the dam. Highly recommended and I will definitely go back

We had a wonderful time, just too short.

Please note that the fridge only the freezer works and the normal fridge is not working otherwise I had a wonderful time.

Private Suite by

The staff is really friendly and they go out of their way to assit and made our stay very comfortable & enjoyable. Really enjoyed the jacuzzi bath at the Private Suite.

Weekend stay by

We had a lovely weekend thank you

Place is Stunning by

The self catering unit, has NO forks or a pan. Light in the kitchen not working. Aircon was only blowing cold wind, despite putting it on high which was 32. over all the stay was good.
