Kingly BoskampPhalaborwa, Limpopo, South Africa Tentenkamp | (POA) |
Resting comfortably in the heart of the Greater Kruger's Big 5 territory amidst the dense mopane woodlands in the GDP Reserve sits the charming and rustic Kingly Bush Camp. Designed for the true wilderness explorer, this intimate camp holds great appeal for safari-enthusiasts who want to immerse themselves in an authentic back-to-roots style safari experience.
Each of the sturdy tents is built on a raised platform, with its own private balcony. Private en suite bathrooms are open-air and have an outdoor shower and washbasin. There is nothing more freeing than showering out in the open, in the middle of the wilderness. Each tent is carpeted for warmth and has a twin bed set-up complete with bedside tables, and modern rugs for a touch of elegance. Beautiful heavy wood stand-alone shelving provides ample space for storage, while a small table provides extra storage space.
Four Meru-style tents overlook a small but busy waterhole, while the main area provides the perfect place to catch-up in the rustic dining area, or around the small splash pool. True to form, there's an intimate firepit area where many nights are spent chatting around the campfire.
Kingly Bush Camp is located in the GDP Reserve which forms part of Balule Nature Reserve and Greater Kruger which offers abundant opportunities to spot the Big 5.
