Kang Ultra Stop is a hotel situated on the Trans Kgalagadi Highway between Ghanzi and Phuduhudu. It is the ideal sleepover and rest stop for holidaymakers and travellers heading towards Swakopmund and the Okavango Delta.

The hotel and lodge offers a wide range of rooms to suite every need. The rooms are all furnished with modern comfortable beds and facilities. Each room is air-conditioned, a TV with DStv, mini bar fridge and tea and coffee-making facilities.

Onsite facilities include a swimming pool, restaurant, bar with big screen TV, a super market, Engen service station and curios shop.

This rest stop is located halfway between Johannesburg and Windhoek just of the main road.

Kang is very good. A nice stay, good stopover.

Too many niggly things to make this a first class stop (towels not available, no bath mat, no hand-basin plug, cold water tap not functioning properly, etc.)

Very nice stay. The only problem we had was the restaurant's rate for rand to pula.

Disgust by

Current exchange rate was R1.20 to one Pula. The office reception quote to a client. Restaurant exchange rate R1.45 to one Pula. Petrol station the same. Left a bad taste in my mouth. Only the room was value for money. The rest was theft.

Horrible by

It was terrible, without Network, arrived at the Lodge even if all people of kitchen was there nobody what coked for us. and no electricity during all night..

Very clean rooms and good location. The buffet breakfast was too expensive and we got no other options.

Staff were all very friendly & helpful. That makes such a difference.

Good place to stop at when travelling through Botswana en route to SA or Namibia place is clean and tidy. Staff could do with some training on customer service but good value for money
