Gwango Elephant Lodge is the ideal location for experiencing African wildlife and the rich cultural heritage of Hwange. Nestled within a lush teak forest, this pristine wilderness estate offers exceptional wildlife sightings and the perfect base from which to explore Hwange National Park.

Accommodation is offered in spacious double-storey thatched villas with en-suite bathrooms and every modern convenience under layers of luxury. Each villa is a secluded haven offering breath-taking views of waterholes from private raised decks and elevated walkways.

Alternatively, guests can choose to stay in the Forest Chalets, which are well-appointed single-level thatched chalets with en-suite bathrooms, rustic furnishings and added comforts. Each Forest Chalet features either twin single beds or a queen-size bed.

Electricity and mosquito netting is supplied in all Tree Top Villas and Forest Chalets. You'll also have use of first class dining and lounging areas, a fireplace, an outdoor boma-style fire pit and an attentive team of full time staff. Laundry service is provided daily.
